In order to meet the increasing demand from customers around the world Wema will change its structure and organization. 

Starting September 1st 2009 Wema International AS and Wema System AS merged into one company. Historically Wema International AS and Wema System AS have been two companies within the same group, but with different focus areas. We have an increasing number of global and local customers in all key regions of the world.  We have recently established our North America location in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA.  We aim to further strengthen our support to our customers in a all key regions where we have a customer base.

Frivik, CEO of the merged companies.  Despite a challenging business year due to the economic slow-down we continue to invest in our businesses to further strengthen our position as a leading supplier.  Wema System AS is the leading supplier of fuel and AdBlue/DEF sensors in the world for trucks and buses and growing fast in the agricultural and construction segment.  The Marine segment which has been a traditional market for our fuel sensors is experiencing good growth with our new line of instrumentation.
